Deacon Freddie Lee Brady

April 14, 1938 ~ April 11, 2018 (age 79)

Mr. Freddie Lee Brady passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018.

The Celebration of Life for Mr. Freddie Lee Brady will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 11:00AM at the House of Deliverance, 9355 St. Charles Rock Road, St. John, Missouri 63114 with Visitation beginning at 10:00AM. The Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. 

The Birth
Freddie Lee Brady was born April 14, 1938 in Saint Louis, Missouri to Willis Weaver, Sr. and Genora Brady who preceded him in death, as well as his brothers Herman, Willis, Jr., David Weaver and sister Susan Withers. 

The Life and Legacy 
Freddie Lee Brady resided in Saint Louis, Missouri.  He graduated from Hadley Technical High School in 1956 and continued on to Lincoln University and then on to serve in the United States Army. 

Freddie met and later married his soulmate, Betty Jane Neal in Holy Matrimony on August 29, 1965; they were married 48 years. To their union was born one son Christopher Lance Brady. Freddie accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1976 and was filled with the Holy Ghost.

Freddie worked at Canteen Corporation for more than 20 years. His lasting legacy will always be his love for the word of God, his ability to impart wisdom, as well as his indelible hunger to teach others the gospel of Jesus Christ. His favorite greeting was “Hello my friend and how are you?” 

He was Chairman of the Deacon Board, Superintendent of the Sunday School Department, Head of the Christian Education Department and member of the men’s ministry.  

His Family
Freddie leaves to cherish his memory; Son Christopher Lance Brady, Sr. (Ursula); two grandchildren whom he loved immensely, Christopher Lance Brady, Jr. and Madison Camille Brady; Brothers Richard Brady (Antrice) and Tommie Brady (Caroline); Sister Rita Reed (Ronald); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
